Betty Mitchell

Betty L. Mitchell, age 87, of Paducah, KY passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Betty was a wonderful cook and had a love for all animals. She will be remembered most for her sweet and kind nature and as a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Betty was a member of Margaret Hank Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her son, Richard L. Mitchell and wife Mary of Paducah, KY and her daughter, Penny Mayes of Republic, MO; two grandchildren, Paul McCartney "Cartney" Mitchell and wife Tereza of Hobe Sound, FL and Michelle Herschend and husband Austin of Nixa, MO; and one great-grandchild, Lillian Herschend.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard H. Mitchell; her parents, Ralph Feezor and Mabel Lee Feezor; one sister, Elizabeth Heflin; and one brother, George Feezor.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Chris Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service time on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to: McCracken Co. Humane Society Memorial Gardens, 4000 Coleman Rd., Paducah, KY 42001.
