Betty Lois Reeder, 81, of Bowling Green, KY passed on to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, January 24, 2015 at home.
A native of Paducah, KY she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Molly Pearl Dunning. She is preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Betty was a member of First Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY and a past member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Paducah, KY. She retired from C-Plant Federal Credit Union in Paducah, KY. Betty loved her flowers and was an avid gardener.
Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to Betty's loving care-giver, Freda Morris and Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
Betty is survived by her husband of 59 years Delbert Reeder; daughter, Debbie Miller (Steve); son, Del Reeder (Ann); 2 grandchildren, Ashley Paige Miller and Stephen Tyler Miller (Kelly) all of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Naretta Glisson (David) of Nashville, TN; 5 great grandchildren, Jackson Miller, Elex Eaton, Bree Eaton, Addison Brown and Paxton Miller; Betty is also survived by Jerry Miller, brother-in-law to Debbie Miller and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at J.C. Kirby & Son, Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah, KY. The family will receive friends at Immanuel Baptist Church in Paducah, KY starting at 3:00 P.M.
