Bobby J. Ray, 80, of Paducah passed away at 9:25 PM Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Mr. Ray was retired from Royal Oaks/Wilson Chevrolet of Paducah after 39 years of employment. Bobby's hobbies included camping and car shows. He also attended Victory Baptist Church of Paducah.
Bobby is survived by one step-son, Benjamin O'Hara and wife Sheila of Harrisburg, IL; one step-daughter, Bonny and husband Tom Reid Bolton of Benton, KY; two daughters, Marty Babb and Debbie Carnell; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ray; his father, Bernard Ray; his mother, Ruby Ray Smith; his step-father, Hobert Smith; one sister, Kathleen Bailey; and one step-brother, Kenneth Smith.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Homer Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the funeral home.
Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Kosair Children's Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 950183, Louisville, KY 40295-0183.
