Catherine Sebree

September 28, 1930 — January 29, 2023

Paducah, KY

Catherine Sebree age 92 of Paducah, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, 6:10 a.m. at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.

She was a member of the former Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church and a current member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses where she served faithfully for years until her health no longer permitted.  She was formerly employed as a presser at Dalton Cleaners and Owen Cleaners.  Catherine had served in several occupations and was always helping to serve in some way in her church and community.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking, fishing and weekend yard sales, but most importantly was her work in the church and serving the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Sebree, three sons, Robert Knox, Danny Knox and Sam Sebree, one grandson, Devone Ferguson, her parents, Harold Manurs and Mary Elizabeth Harold Manurs, four brothers, Elvin Manurs, Melvin Manurs, John (Tim) Manurs and Jab Manurs.

She leaves to cherish her memory; one son, Larry Sebree, three daughters, Sandra Sebree and Patricia Sebree Ferguson all of Paducah; and Deborah Sebree McClain of Murfreesboro, TN; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2023, 12 noon at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends may call Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
