Charles “Billy” Brannon, 81, of Paducah, KY formerly of Melber, KY, passed away at 6:25 pm on Thursday December 5, 2019 at Baptist Health in Paducah.

Billy was a retired over the road truck driver and a member of Southland Baptist Temple. He loved to play his steel guitar, dancing, talking with his family and friends and most importantly his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Brannon Farrell and husband, Gary of Mt. Pleasant, WI; two sons, Joe Brannon and wife, Cindy and Mark Brannon all of Paducah; five grandchildren, Jason Farrell, Nick Shepler, Tiffany King, Dakota Shugars, and Chase Brannon; and great grandaughter, Rylee McFadden.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Janice Wyatt Brannon; and daughter, Angela King. His parents were Charles Olan Brannon, and Ruth Courtney Brannon.

A private family graveside service is scheduled at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Billy will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Lawrence officiating.
