Clifford Phillips

C. Carlyle Phillips, 96 of Paducah, KY, died at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital. He was a member of First Christian Church where he served as trustee and elder. He was a graduate of Murray High School, attended Murray State University and was a veteran of United States Army. He retired from Illinois Central Railroad as Assistant Vice-President.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, locally, Becky Borton, Suzanne Jackson, Patsy Berryhill, Gene McDougal and James Shelton, Jr.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Dorothy Elizabeth Meeker Phillips; parents, C.C. Phillips Sr. & Cozy Shelton Phillips; two sisters and three brothers.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jae Gottman officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday, January 29, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until service time of 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
