Delilah McDaniel

Delilah McDaniel, 92, of Reidland, passed away at 8:26 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Southgate Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.
Mrs. McDaniel retired from Arkema in Calvert City as an Administrative Assistant, she was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church for 65 years and Baptist Health Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Charles A. McDaniel of Reidland; son, Mike Davis and wife Milly of Paducah; one step-son, David McDaniel and wife Teresa of Nashville; two step-daughters, Camilla Box and husband Eddie of Reidland, Karen Jackson and husband Jack of Murray; one brother, Dewey Powell and wife Linda of Kevil; one sister, Cora Moss and husband Charles of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Clay Davis of Memphis, TN., Jill Vessels and husband Justin of Paducah; five step-grandchildren, Mary Catherine Patty, Drew Wooldridge, Clare McDaniel, Russ McDaniel, May McDaniel; two great-grandsons, Davis Vessels, Grey Vessels; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay & Floy (Sledd) Powell; her first husband, Frank Davis; two brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, October 10, 2016 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Rev. Thomas Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions made to Oaklawn Baptist Church, 500 Oaks Road, Paducah, KY 42003.
