Dorothy Jackson

February 7, 1928 — November 26, 2015

Mrs. Jackson retired as a Manager at Cherry the Florist of Paducah, she was a member of Fountain Avenue Methodist Church, WBH Auxiliary, Aldersgate Quilters of Paducah, Paducah Red Hat Society, and Methodist Women.

She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Ann Hornbeak and husband Phillip of Lone Oak, Deborah E. McNutt and husband Ron of Murray, KY; one sister, Ruth Redmon of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Phil Hornbeak and wife Lyz of Paducah, Jason Hornbeak and late wife Mon of Paducah, Lindsay Orange and husband Edwin of Frankfort, KY, Alyson English and husband Ben of Huntsville, AL, Matthew McNutt of Murray; seven great grandchildren, Timmy Hornbeak, Eli Hornbeak, Caroline Orange, Raleigh Orange, Will English, Adelaide English, Landon McNutt; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C.O. and Elizabeth (Cole) Futrell; first husband, Thomas Cherry; second husband, R. Lee Jackson; two sisters; one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2015 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Greg Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Paducah.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
