Emma Walls

Emma Walls, 88, of Paducah, passed away at 8:15 pm on Wednesday, February, 11, 2015 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Emma was a member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the Choir, taught Sunday School, and was a member of the ladies auxiliary. She had worked at J.C. Penney.
She is survived by her son, James "Ed" Walls and wife Rosemary Dixon of Paducah; ten grandchildren; one brother, Robert Ray Laxson and wife Millie of Knoxville TN; twenty-three great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Walls; her son, Leslie Oren Walls; two sisters, Frances Reeder, and Elizabeth Ryan, and her parents, Leslie Ray Laxson, and Mary E. Langston Laxson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February, 14, 2015 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Curtis Franklin officiating. Visitation for Emma will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, February, 14, 2015 at The Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home.
