Evelyn Reitdorf

Evelyn A. Rietdorf, age 102, of Murray, Kentucky died on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Rietdorf was born in Paducah, Kentucky on October 17, 1914 to the late Walter Attebury and Alice (Sayer) Attebury. Mrs. Rietdorf retired from the Florsheim Shoe Factory in Paducah, Kentucky before closing and was the oldest member of the Palestine United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Rietdorf was preceded in death by her husband Willie Rietdorf; and by four brothers, Donald, Charles, Paul and Walter "Bud" Attebury.

Mrs. Rietdorf is survived by one sister, Lucille Blankenship of Reidland, Kentucky; as well as several nieces.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Paducah, Kentucky with Rev. Robert McKinney officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no public visitation.
