Gerald Smith

Gerald Smith, 70, of Paducah, passed away at 7:00 am on July 31, 2015 at his residence.

Gerald was a member of the United Steelworkers and he had retired from NewPage in Wickliffe.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Doris Joyce Smith of Paducah, KY; three daughters, Melinda Smith Vasseur of Paducah, KY, Melody Green of Loveland, OH, and Emily McGuinness of Paducah, KY; two sisters, Brenda Jeffers of Ft. Collins, CO, and Glenda Nance of Ft. Collins, CO; one brother, Dale Smith of Paducah, KY, and eight Grandchildren.


Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Delma Smith, and Violet Shaffer Smith; three sisters, and one brother.

Funeral Services for Gerald will be 1:00 pm on Monday, August 3, 2015 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dick Vasseur officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for Gerald will be 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday, August 3, 2015 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
