Grace Hargrove

February 17, 1926 — June 7, 2018

Grace Anna Hargrove, 92, of Paducah, passed away at 5:50 p.m. Thursday,, June 7, 2018 at Superior Care Home. Grace was a long time member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. Grace was a former member of the Lone Oak Woman's Club, Lone Oak Homemakers, and was a Kentucky Colonel. She had a keen interest in knitting and sewing. Grace was very soft spoken and loved by all who knew her.

Survivors include two daugthers, Iris (Tom) Metcalf of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Lola Giltner of Lone Oak; two sons, Gaylen Hargrove of Lone Oak and Sammy Hargrove of Evansville, Indiana; one sister, Lorraine Adams of Murray; three grandchildren, Brian (Melanie) Metcalf, Lori Sanders and Leigh Ann (Kyle) Parish; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Metcalf, Allison Metcalf, Hayes Parish, Grayson Parish and Riley Sanders; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death was her husband, Charles Hargrove; parents, Samuel Arnett & Lola Belle Allen Arnett; two sisters, Linda Bell and Evelyn Rohrer; two brothers, Allen Arnett and Halburn Arnett.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
