Grace Keeling

Grace Ethel Haney Keeling, 88, of Paducah, Ky, passed away at 4:15 pm Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Baptist Health Paducah. She was a pastor's wife, long time member of Eastside Holiness Church, loving Mother and homemaker.
Grace was born in Wyatt, MO on March 26, 1927 to William and Ethel Haney. She will be remembered for her Christian love and devotion to prayer and the study of God's Word. She enjoyed a good southern gospel song, Holy Bible based sermon, and Holy Spirt inspired prayer. She loved fresh home grown tomatoes and a good game of Bingo. Many thanks to the care givers over the years that made her life better including Morningside Assisted Living of Paducah, Jackson Oaks, Baptist and Lourdes Home Health, and the doctors and nurses at Baptisit Health Hospital that cared so sincerely and compassionately over the past week. Our family will never forget that care and compassion. Thanks also to all the ministers, friends, and church members that prayed over her, visited, and sent cards. May God richly bless each one of you.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Merry and husband Mike, of Brandon, MS and Mary Layne, of Tennessee; her son Rickey Joe Keeling and wife Becky, of Paducah, KY; her grandchildren, Kevin Michael Merry, Joseph Roman Merry, Michael Brian McClure, Hollie Renee McClure, Matthew Johnson Layne, Robin Beth Layne, April Anne Davis and husband Rob and Ben Keeling; her great grandchildren, Dylan Tylor Layne, Brooke Nichole Layne, Emily Grace Layne, Conner Davis and Karson Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rev. Wilton "Pete" Keeling; her parents, William "Willie" Jasper Haney and Ethel Williams Haney; her infant daughter, Zola Mae Keeling; her sister, Mildred Haney Butler; her brothers, Elvis Lee Haney and Willard Haney.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Wallace and Rev. Bob Martin will officiate with entombment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 pm Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
