Huey Baker

Huey Palmer Baker, age 87 of E. Lansing, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte, MI. Huey was born in Judsonia, Arkansas on July 31, 1928, the son of James Alfred & Maddie (Hendrixson) Baker. He retired from the Air Force, having served during WWII, Korean War, and 2 enlistments in Viet Nam. On May 2, 2009 he married Eleanor Louise Olmstead in Haslett. He attended Haslett Community Church.

Huey is survived by his wife, Eleanor, 6 children, step daughter and her husband, a brother and a sister. He was predeceased by 1 child. Memorials are suggested to Eaton Community Palliative Care or Disabled Veterans. As he requested, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
