Janett Kennedy, 81, of Paducah passed away at 6:15 pm on Tuesday, April, 14, 2015 at her residence.
She was an member of Concord United Methodist Church, Rolling Hills Country Club Ladies Golf Association, and Epsilon Sigma Alpha. She had worked at Big Burley Mart, Kentucky Utilities, Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce and Heublein Spirits. She loved trout fishing, golfing and playing bridge.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Kennedy of Paducah; daughter Lynett Hamilton and husband William Scott Hamilton of Brentwood TN; son Mark Kennedy and wife Tammy of West Paducah; brother, William Gordon Ferren Jr.; grandchildren, Abbie King of Lebanon TN, and Clay Kennedy and wife Channing of West Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Gordon Ferren and Velva Lee Rudd Ferren Iverlet.
A memorial service is scheduled for Mrs. Kennedy at 10:00 am on Friday, April, 17, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Earl Dickerson officiating. Visitation for Mrs. Kennedy will be from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Friday, April, 17, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, 38105.
