Judith Gallip

Judy M. Gallip, age 75, of Paducah passed away at 8:30 PM August 1, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

She was born February 5, 1942 in St. Louis. She attended nursing school after college and was a Licensed Practical Nurse in Houston, TX. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah where she was a greeter. She enjoyed sewing and hand crafts and loved crocheting prayer shawls for distribution to patients in hospitals. She was an active volunteer for Lourdes Hospital and loved participating in family activities.

Judy is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, Larry L. Gallip and two sons; William (Patricia) Gallip of Coon Rapids, MN and Mickey Gallip of Metropolis, IL and a daughter Melissa Gallip of Metropolis, IL and one sister; Diane Greener (Donald) of Beaumont, TX. She leaves behind five grandchildren; Angela Gallip, Marie (Stephen) Bartels, John (Melissa) Gallip, Maggie Gallip and Caitlyn Gallip and one great- grandson Nathaniel Bartels and several nieces and nephews.

Judy M. Gallip was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Alice Salesina Boyd.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Tommy Tucker and Rev. Mike Hardison officiating and entombment in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for Judy will be from 5- 7:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
