June Gatliff

July 26, 1924 — March 21, 2016

June Gatliff, 91, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 8:54 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 at Baptist Health Paducah. She worked for the Paducah City School System in several positions and retired as the Receptionist for the Board of Education office. June was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens. June loved to entertain family and friends. Her creamed corn and pies were favorites of everyone. She was lovingly known as the food pusher by her grandchildren, no one ever went away hungry.

June is survived by her daughter, Deitra King of Benton, Kentucky; son, Noel Gatliff of Houston, Texas; five granchildren, Veronica Mitchell, David King, Jon King, Ben Gatliff and Alex Gatliff; eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and serveral nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benton Gatliff; two sisters and one brother. Her parents were David Miller and Matilda McNeil Miller.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
