Kenneth Allen Downey, 77, of Paducah passed away at 2:50 AM Saturday, January 9, 2016 at McCracken Nursing Home.
Mr. Downey retired from Hendron Water Works and he was of the Lutheran faith.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Debbie Barton of Paducah; five grandchildren, Brittany English of Paducah, Audrey Dunn of Paducah, Travis Morehead of Paducah, Ryan Snow of Paducah, Brandon Snow of Cedar Rapids, IA; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavena (Babb) Downey; parents, Claude Downey and Nila (Starr) Downey; and one brother.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Jesse Oden officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens of Paducah.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the funeral home.
