Mr. Larry D. Brummitte, age 69, of Nashville, TN formerly of Benton, KY passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015, at Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Born Monday, January 14, 1946, in Caldwell County, KY he was a retired Field Tech from Nixon Power Services.
Mr. Brummitte is survived by his daughter Lesha Brummitte of Nashville, TN; brother Keith Brummitte of Benton, KY; sister Rose Ann Brummitte of Benton, KY and step-mother Christene Brummitte, of Benton, KY.
Mr. Brummitte was preceded in death by his wife Rebecca "Becky" (Collins) Brummitte and daughter Denna Brummitte. He was the son of the late James Douglas and Florence Edna (Lady) Brummitte.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday November 24, 2015 in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home, with Rev. Joel Frizzell officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Paducah, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Monday November 23, 2015 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th Street, Benton, KY.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Brenda McClaran, 510 W 9th Street, Benton, KY 42025.
