Leo F. Green, 72, of West Paducah passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Baptist Health.

Leo served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He graduated from Heath High School in 1961 and then with a master's degree from Murray State University. Leo was a member of Broadway Church of Christ. He enjoyed a 28-year career in sales, working as an account executive for WPSD-TV, Paducah Sun and most recently Tanager Productions in Benton.

Leo was active in Kiwanis International, where he helped organize the Louise Mandrell Benefit Scholarship Fundraiser. He was also involved in the publicity and organization of many Lions Club Telethons. Leo had served as PTA President and sat on various boards at Barkley Regional Airport, Brooks Stadium, and Easter Seals where he was Chairman of the Board. He had served as Chairman of the Paducah Sun Tennis Tournament.

He is survived by his daughter, Megan Leigh Green Tamisiea and husband Timmy of Los Angeles, CA; son, Kent William Green of Paducah; two sisters, Patti Kerr of Paducah, Cherri Bell and husband Gary of Paducah; one grandson Jack Tamisiea; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Green and parents, Leo Franklin Green Sr. and Elta Aileen Decker Green.

Funeral services for Leo will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dan Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
