Linda Thompson

Linda Gail Thompson, 74 of Lone Oak, KY died at 12:54 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Calvert City Convalescent Center. Linda was a native of Providence, KY and a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. Linda was retired from McCracken County Board of Education. She loved her family and having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with her was always special.

Survivors include one daughter, Jill Raney and husband Jeff; one son, Greg Thompson and wife Lisa all of Lone Oak, KY; seven grandchildren, Jessica Williams, Jaden Raney, Alex Raney, Katelin Thompson, Kisten Thompson, Alise Thompson and Andrea Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Cooper Wilkerson, Jack Edwards and Bella Edwards.

Preceding in death was husband of 51 years, James Bond "J.B." Thompson; parents, W.D. "Dub" Roberts & Evelyn Cullen Roberts.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Woodlawn Memorial Garden Chapel with Dr. Willis Henson officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 10:00 a.m.-until 11:45 a.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Calvert City Convalescent Center and Morningside Assisted Living for excellent care given during Linda's illness.
