Mildred Creed, 90, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Paducah, KY, died Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY.
Mildred was born in Hickman County, KY on June 2, 1927 to Newt Washington Martin and Nellie Jo Warf Martin.
She is survived by two sons, Herschel Edward Creed, Jr. of Lexington and Dan Creed of Elk River, MN; a brother, Wash Martin of Cape Hatteras, NC; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Herschel Edward Creed; daughter, Lonia Kay Creed; son, Ronald Edward Creed; seven sisters; seven brothers; and her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah. Urn burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial visitation will begin at noon Saturday at the funeral home.
