Mildred Hayes, 94, of Paducah passed away at 11:20 am Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Southgate Nursing Home in Metropolis.
Mrs. Hayes was a retired Department Manager at Woolco Dept. Store and a member at Oaklawn Baptist Church for 76 years.
She is survived by two sisters, Rose Lawrence and husband Joe of Paducah, Verna Horning and husband Bob of Paducah; 2 nephews, Scott Wells of Nashville, Bruce Horning of Astoria, NY; 5 nieces, Marita Peters of Nashville, Brenda Dilworth of Paducah, Beth Wyatt of Paducah, Staci Drake of Paducah, Scarlett King of Westchester, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Hayes; parents, James Dick and Hearldie (Carter) Dick; 4 brothers, J.C Dick, Irvin Dick, Charles Dick, Jewel Dick; 2 sisters, Evelyn Wilson, Mable Powley.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Tommy Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions made to Oaklawn Baptist Church, 500 Oaks Road, Paducah, KY 42003.
