Mildred H. (Head) Woodall, 95, of St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, March 8, 2016. She was formerly of Paducah, KY and earned her Registered Nurse degree from William Mason Memorial Hospital in Murray, KY.
Mildred was born in Burna, KY on June 2, 1920 to Cleve and Marjorie (Parker) Head.
She was the loving wife of the late Rupert "Red" Woodall, for 43 years. The loving mother of Nancy Woodall and the late Mary Liz Maurer and Donald R. Woodall; the cherished grandmother of Bryan (Heidi) Hoskins, Brett, Kevin, Julie and Brian Maurer; the great grandmother of Eli and Luci Hoskins; and the dearest sister of Fran Arnold.
She was preceded in death by 9 siblings, including her twin sister, Melvia Farmer.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral of Paducah, with Rev. Mike Grimes officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5-8:00 pm Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions, in Mildred's honor, to the charity of your choice.
