Nancy Gresham

Nancy Jane Hammond Terry Gresham, 95, Widow of William Drury Gresham, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, died August 14, 2016 at Greenville Glen Assisted Living.
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Hugh Wood Hammond and Nannie Flora Dunaway Hammond. Her first husband was the late Arleigh B Terry. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church of Paducah, Kentucky, and an educator for thirty three years, teaching English, History and Latin. She was also honored to be a Kentucky Colonel.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia Joy and Harry Summerville of Dayton, Ohio and Cheryl Jane and Richard K. McClure of Simpsonville, South Carolina; one son and daughter-in law, Stephen William and Nanette Gresham of Dayton, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Michael Summerville (Diane) of Dallas, Texas; Mark Summerville (Suzanne) of Knoxville, Tennessee; Chris Summerville of Dayton, Ohio; Kent McClure (Laurel) of Black Mountain, North Carolina; Laura Jane Jennings (Jeff) of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; Erica Cargle (Nathan), Drury Gresham (Megann) and Will Gresham all of Dayton, Ohio; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Dawson Summerville, Preston Summerville, Davis Summerville, Anna Summerville, John Summerville, Kyle Summerville, Grace Summerville, Boone Jennings, Hutch Jennings, Luke Cargle, Reed Cargle, Landon Gresham, and Hendricks Gresham.
She also was predeceased by a granddaughter, Rachel McClure and a sister, Mary Larue Hammond McGuire.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
