Nellie Franklin

Nellie Rose Franklin, 83, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 4:03 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Lourdes Hospital. She was retired from retail sales and was a caregiver. Nellie was a member of Highland Baptist Church and a graduate of Reidland High School.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Franklin Watts of Clarksville, TN; sons, Raymond Lee Franklin and Steve Franklin both of Ledbetter, KY; sister, Margie Harris of Reidland, KY; brother, Donald Copeland of Reidland, KY; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Franklin, 1 daughter, Katherine Anglin, and 2 sisters. Her parents were Hardin Copeland and Lillian Christine Goatley Copeland.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.Thrusday, February 8, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
