Norman Bennett

December 7, 1925 — February 24, 2017

Norman Bennett, age 91, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 8:47 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Bennett was born in Weakley County, TN on December 7, 1925, the son of Fred and Rozettie (Zettie) Bennett. Mr. Bennett worked in Inventory Control with the Eaton Corporation in Bowling Green, KY. He was a member of the Church of The Nazerene in Fulton, KY where he was a dedicated Sunday School attendee and Superintendent.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife of 72 years, Dortha Stoker Bennett; two children, son, Phillip W. Bennett and wife Vivanna of Otisville, NY, daughter, Beverly Hill and husband Dennis of Paducah, KY; two grandchildren, Melissa Charland and Samantha Allen; four great grandchildren; brother, William "Billy" Bennett of Lincoln Park, MI; sister, Nell Hornsby of Paducah, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl, Raymond, Harold and Paul; two sisters, Mary Ruth and Margaret.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Chaplain Brent Easton officiating. A Private family entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Lourdes Hospice, P.O. Box 7100 Paducah, KY 42002-7100.
