Ray Pelley

May 13, 1945 — December 1, 2015

Ray Lynn Pelley, age 70, of Paducah, passed away at 4:22 AM on December 1, 2015 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Lourdes Hospital.

He was the Owner of Antiques, Cards and Collectibles, Inc. in Paducah for many years. He was a graduate of Murray State University where he received a B.S. in Education and taught Industrial Arts and Woodworking at Tilghman High School. Mr. Pelley was a member and elder at Broadway Church of Christ and a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Germany.

Ray Pelly is survived by his wife, Charlotte Jeanie Bellamy Pelley of Paducah and four daughters, Reigh Anne Seifert of Clarksburg, MD, Melony DeShay Wade of Henderson, TN, Amanda Lee Farley of Paducah, KY and Jill Bellamy Jackson of Henderson, TN. He is survived by two sons, James H. Bellamy of Knoxville, TN and Jared M. Bellamy of South Fulton, TN, a sister, Carolyn Pelley Abshire of Huber Heights, OH and 12 Grandchildren.

He was preceded by his first wife, Diedra Lee Robertson Pelley and his parents, Ray and Fern Munyan Pelley.

Funeral services for Ray Lynn Pelley will be Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Broadway Church of Christ with Dr. Dan Owen officiating and burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday at Broadway Church of Christ until the service time.
