Relus C. Woods, 80, of Paducah passed away at 11:30 PM Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Woods retired from Reed Oil Company where he was employed for 25 years, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy Woods of Paducah; two sons, Charles Woods of Paducah, Mickel Woods of Louisville; two daughters, Peggy VanGorp of Harrodsburg, KY, Vickey Hearell of Symsonia; one brother, Kelly Gene Woods of Murray; 6 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelly Woods and Venezuela (Higgins) Woods; one sister; and one brother.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Paducah with Rev. Rodney Wallace officiating. Entombment will follow.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Wednesday at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah.
