Rev. Terry Vasseur
April 21, 1938 — February 5, 2017
Rev. Terry M. Vasseur, age 78, of Murray, KY and formerly of Paducah, KY passed away at 2:40 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Brother Terry was a member of Covenant Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was attending Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Murray, KY.
Brother Terry attended Bethel College and was a graduate of the Program of Alternate Studies through the Memphis Theological Seminary. Brother Terry pastored churches in Calloway, Graves, Marshall, Crittendon and McCracken Counties. He worked for Sears for 20 years in retail sales.
Survivors in clude his wife, Loretta Paschall Adams Vasseur; one daughter, Lori Vasseur Vaughn and friend, Ernie Holman of Paducah, KY; one son Ross Keith Vasseur of Cunninghman, KY; one step-daughter, Lori Adams McGregor and husband, Doug of Benton, KY; one step-son, Billy Hal Adams and wife, Angela of Murray, KY; two brothers, Richard "Dick" Vasseur and wife, Jeannie of Paducah, KY and Steve Vasseur and wife, Carlene of St. Augustine, FL; four grandsons, Justin Vaughn, Brandon Vaughn, Kenny Vasseur and Nathan Vasseur; four step-grandsons, Lake McGregor, Cole McGregor, Brandon Orr and Zachary Orr; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Ross Vasseur in 1999; parents, Martin Eugene Vasseur & Edith Evelyn Petway Vasseur.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Revs. Gary Vacca, Bud Russell, Wendell Ordway officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
Expression of sympathy may be made to charity of choice.
