Mr. Steven Lindsey Reed, age 61 of Mayfield, Ky passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 7:15 AM at his residence.
He was a member of the Cuba Church of Christ, and a retired Salesman for Air Gas Company of Paducah, Ky.
He is survived by his wife- Teresa Yvonne Harpole Reed of Mayfield, Ky whom he married on May 14, 1976; his two sons- Jonathan Adam (Angie) Reed and Benjamin Scott (Vanessa) Reed both of Mayfield, Ky; his nine grandchildren- Jacob Reed, Tristen Reed, Bryson Reed, Kaylie Reed, Lindsay Brooke Reed, Keaton Pierceall, Sophie Pierceall, Darcey Dykes, and Gannon Forrer; his two sisters- Melanie Jean (Dennis) Reed Russell of Green Cove Springs, Fl, and Janice Denise (Jim) Reed Brazzell of Mayfield, Ky; his two brothers- Richard Summers (Anna) Reed of Hickory, Ky, and Charles William Reed II of Groveland, Fl.
Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his parents- Charles William Reed & Janice Marie Summers Laird; and a sister- Gloria Jean Reed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky with Bro. Will McSweeney & Bro. James Stovall officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cuba Church of Christ Benevolent Fund, 51 Cuba School Road, Mayfield, Ky 42066 or to the Easter Seals Center, 801 N. 29th Street, Paducah, Ky 42001.
