W Ford

WB Ford, 91, of Lone Oak died at 1:55 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016, at Baptist Health Paducah. WB was a native of Graves County and an active member of Lone Oak United Methodist Church. He was retired from Union Carbide and had been a part of the Lone Oak Fire Department for many years and wore many hats, the last one when he became Fire Chief. He enjoyed fishing and travelling with his wife at his side and was proud of his family, especially the grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Lou Jean Dillingham Ford; two daughters, Valerie Ford Fitch and husband, James, of Round Mountain, NV and Celia Ford Smith and husband, Harve, of Lone Oak, KY; five grandchildren, Lt. Commander Jamie Fitch, Portsmouth, VA, Tracy Smith (Markisan) Naso, Chicago, IL, Brandon Fitch, Round Mountain, NV, Aaron Smith, Lexington, KY, Jana Cooper, Dyersburg, TN; one great- grandchild, Zaiden Cooper; two nephews, Donalee (Janice) Ford, Sidney (Lois) Fuller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Bertha Mason Ford; one sister Alice Belle Ford Cady; one brother, Aubrey Ford; one niece, Freddie Fuller.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Cavitt officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
The Ford family will receive friends Friday, May 13, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
